DJ Leigh Brookfield who filmed himself urinating over a cancer patient has been jailed for 14 weeks.
Leigh Brookfield 40 had pleaded guilty to common assault after the incident which happened on Boxing Day 2023.
The incident took place in a social club in Llanelli, the man in the video was explaining to Leigh Brookfield that he had prostate, this did not seem to bother Brookfield as it could be seen he was finding it funny during the incident.

Brookfield was sentenced in Llanelli magistrates court on Thursday 25th January, the judge said it was “an assault on the victim” where he was mocked by Brookfield whilst he was drunk.
The victim was unaware of the incident happening until the video was shared on social media on Boxing Day.

What a joke of a sentence….. Only in Llanelli would you get such a soft one….. I think it’s time to change the whole jp society in this town

Is that it… 14 weeks… Every crime should carry a minimum sentence of 5 years…. All privileges withdrawn, no access to tv, computers and only allowed basic human amenities/rights and that which is nessesary to keep the convicted person alive.
Considering people do gbh and get suspended sentences maybe 14 weeks was too harsh!!!
