Llanelli Town Council Parks and Playing fields will see a number of free activities arranged from the Easter Holiday period with a calendar of activities made available to residents. In addition the Town Council Splash Pads at Havelock Park and Penyfan Park are due to be brought into operation in readiness for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Play area improvements have also recently been completed, with new equipment installed at Crown Park, Havelock Park and Peoples Park.
Llanelli Town Mayor, Cllr John Jones and Council Leader Cllr Sean Rees joined local ward members in visiting the parks to see the completed works.

Cllr Rees said:
“We’re delighted to see these improvements to the play areas at Crown Park (Seaside), Havelock Park (Morfa), and Peoples Park (Town Centre) being enjoyed by local families and children.

“These upgrades represent an important investment in our community’s wellbeing and outdoor spaces. Thanks to our staff for their hard work and dedication. Together, this demonstrates the Town Council’s continuing commitment to providing safe, welcoming places for play, leisure, and healthy activity across Llanelli.”
