No and low-alcohol drink (NOLO) popularity has surged rapidly, with 44% of all UK adults—and nearly 49% of young adults—now using these alternatives to moderate their drinking.
No and low-alcohol beers have moved from niche to mainstream. For brewers they are no longer a January product or a small fridge option for non-drinkers. They are part of a broader moderation trend, with the UK no and low alcohol beer sales reported to have reached record levels in 2025.
