LLANELLI DISABILITY CHARITY AWARDED GRANT

Breakthro Llanelli, a charity that runs a club for adults who have special educational needs and or learning disabilities has been awarded £9,700 by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

 

The funds will be spent on trips to heritage sites across Wales, training and marketing material.

Izzy Khan, treasurer said:

 

“I’d like to thank the Heritage Lottery for awarding us this grant and to Nia Griffith, Llanelli Town and Rural Councils and CETMA for supporting us with our application.”

 

“This grant enables us to visit some of the wonderful heritage attractions that Wales has to offer.”

 

Breakthro Llanelli is a charity that runs a Saturday Club and a Wednesday Cinema Club for adults who have learning disabilities and/or special educational needs.  The grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund will enable the charity to visit such heritage places.
