As we ease out of lock-down we have a summer to look forward. We’ve had some glorious sunny days already, pubs have re-opened and normality is returning. DOG’S WINDOW & WALES ALES – DOG DAYS OF SUMMER (440ml) 4.8% abv
Brewing out of a small unit in Bridgend this brewery has been going less than 3 years but is already in the top 50 UK breweries based on Untappd ratings (a beer rating app) and top in South Wales.
We had a lost summer in 2020, Dog’s Window Brewery & Wales Ales have made a collaboration beer and are reclaiming summer in style with Dog Days of Summer. A Strawberry Oat IPA…summer in a can!
Loads of oats in the grain bill and hopped with Amarillo, Hallertau Blanc and Citra for a fruity flavour and a big splash of strawberry.
GOWER – SUNRISE (500ml) 4% abv
An easy drinking blonde beer, brewed with only pale malt and wheat. Infused with a combination of two classic citrusy hops – cascade and Citra. Very clear and straw coloured we always look forward to this refreshing summer release from Gower Brewery, we’ve done a good bit of quality control on this one!
BLUESTONE-SUMMER ROCKS (500ml) 4.5% abv
A special seasonal release, a summer Pembrokeshire Pale Ale. A refreshing light and Golden IPA, combining a malty crispness with piney, citrus and lemon flavours, brewed entirely with three South Island, New Zealand hops.
TENBY BREWERY-SON OF A BEACH (440ml can) 4.2%abv
One of our personal favourites, packed full on tropical flavours at a low abv. A tropical pale ale. Their best selling sessionable and refreshing Pale Ale full of Tropical Fruit flavours from premium hop additions. Dry hopped with Simcoe/Equanot/Mosaic. Best served on the Beach!
TINY REBEL-CLWB TROPICA (330ml) 5.5% abv
This grown up fruit salad is as colourful as the most hideous Hawaiian shirt you’ve ever seen. It’s super juicy and crammed full of fruity hop flavours that will have your mouth watering. Packed full of American hops, amplified by Peach, Passionfruit, Pineapple and Mango flavours! We thought this tasted like a boozy lilt!
