On Tuesday 16th May morning, I decided to make my way to a new and exciting breakfast spot in Burry Port.
The specific destination that had piqued my interest was Aubrey’s Café – a wonderful establishment that I had been hearing such great things about from friends and members of the public on social media, located at 18 Station Road in Burry Port. The owner promises fair prices, and warm, kindly service.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the charming and quaint atmosphere of the place, which only added to my excitement to try out their much talked about breakfast options.
Within 5 minutes of being there the waitress popped to my table and took my order, I opted for the very large Aubrey’s breakfast, which consisted of 3 bacon, 3 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, beans, 2 black pudding, fried bread and sautéed chips, along with toast and tea.
My wife, who came along with me, said I would not have eaten it all, but lo and behold I did. Within 10 minutes of taking the order we had our hot drinks along with our breakfast.
And I must say, I was not disappointed! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection that I left feeling fully satisfied, both in my belly and in my spirit!
Overall, it was a delightful and memorable experience that I will definitely be returning to very soon, I would give 10/10 for service, 10/10 for quality of food 10/10 for a lovely friendly atmosphere, I was sadly disappointed with the milk I had with the tea as I opted for Oat Milk as there were bits floating in the tea, although apart from that I will still give an overall 9.5/10.
Thank you Joshua Jones for your hospitality, keep up the good work!
