CETMA is launching a new series of Winter Warm Hubs to help local residents stay safe, supported, and socially connected during the colder months. Running from Tuesday, 11th November 2025, the hubs will be open Tuesdays to Thursdays, 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at CETMA Llanelli.
These drop-in sessions are designed to combat winter isolation and provide access to vital services, creative outlets, and community engagement. No booking is needed — just turn up and enjoy a warm drink, friendly conversation, and a range of weekly activities.
What’s On Each Week:
• Tuesdays: Digital Help — get support with devices, apps, and online access.
• Wednesdays:
◦ Week 1: Community support services
◦ Week 2: Type 2 Diabetes education
◦ Week 3: Follow-up Community support services
◦ Week 4: Follow-up diabetes session
• Thursdays: Arts & Crafts — hands-on creative fun for all ages.
The hubs will be closed for the Christmas period from 22nd December 2025 to 5th January 2026.
Keith Evans-Hurley, CETMA’s Director, shared:
“Our Winter Warm Hubs are about more than just staying warm — they’re about building community. We’re creating a space where people can feel safe, seen, and supported, especially during the winter when those needs are greatest.”
