Everyone loves to see young entrepreneurs doing well in their local community. Lee Waters, the Member of the Senedd for Llanelli, got a taste of just that when he visited the Lean Kitchen Cafe in Dafen and met with its owner, Ioan Dillon.
Lean Kitchen provides healthy, calculated nutritional meals to meet people’s fitness goals. The meals are ‘prepped’ ready for people to collect their weekly orders from one of several collection points in and around Llanelli.
The business started off only operating on weekends. Now the young entrepreneur is supplying hundreds of nutritional meals for collection every week and has opened the Lean Kitchen Café located in Robert Davies gym.
Ioan bought the Lean Kitchen business while still in school studying for his A-levels. While many were sceptical of Ioan running a business while still in school, Ioan pursued his ambition.
