Local bus surgeries held under LINC project

A NUMBER of local bus surgeries are being held in parts of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire under the LINC project.
 
People will be able to find out more about the award-winning Bwcabus and Traws Cymru services, as well as other local bus and rail services.
 
Representatives from Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire councils and Bus Users Cymru will also be in attendance. There will also be information available on various schemes such as concessionary travel cards and MyTravelPass for 16 to 18-year-olds.
 
The bus surgeries are being held in Haverfordwest, Llandysul, Newcastle Emlyn, Lampeter and Aberaeron during October.
 
A moving bus surgery is also being held in the Pembrokeshire on Wednesday, October 4.
 
Executive Board Member for the Environment Cllr Hazel Evans said: “This is an excellent opportunity for people to come and learn more about Bwcabus and Traws Cymru as well as give their views.
 
“We have expanded the Bwcabus service into new areas this year so we are really keen to have feedback from passengers.”
 
Bwcabus is a partnership between Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire county councils and has received funding as part of the LINC project through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (RDP), which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
 
The surgeries are being held on / at:
•             Friday, October 6 – Haverfordwest, Farmers Market – 9am – 12pm
•             Wednesday, October 11 – Llandysul, New Road – 10am – 12pm
•             Friday, October 13 – Newcastle Emlyn, College Street – 10am – 12pm
•             Friday, October 20 – Lampeter, near NatWest bus stop – 10am – 12pm
•             Friday, October 20 – Aberaeron, Alban Square – 1pm – 3pm
 
Wednesday, October 4 – moving bus surgery at the following locations:
•             Trecwn, bus shelter – 10:00 to 10:40
•             Puncheston, near school – 11:00 to 11:40
•             Maenclochog, near playground – 12:00 to 12:40
•             Spittal, opposite The Pump on the Green – 13:30 to 14:10
•             Hayscastle Cross, bus shelter – 14:30 to 15:10
