SOUTH WALES POLICE APPEAL – RTC IN PORTH

South Wales Police is investigating a serious road traffic collision that occurred this morning at 8.50am (Monday the 7th of January 2019) on the A4233 Porth near to the roundabout with the A4058 Porth.
A black Citroen C1 motor vehicle driven by a 76-year-old male and a silver Renault Traffic vehicle driven by a 53-year-old male resulted in both being injured.
The road was closed for approximately three hours whilst police carried out initial investigations and recovered the vehicle. South Wales Police would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding during this incident.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to contact them. Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who stopped to provide assistance, or anyone who may have seen either vehicle being driven prior to the collision and who have not yet given their details.
