Further to the statement issued yesterday about malicious comments in relation to Ysgol Gyfun y Strade, we can confirm the following in hope it helps to alleviate concerns.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We can confirm a legally held air weapon has been voluntarily surrendered to us in connection to this investigation. It is now due to be destroyed. We would like to reassure the public we are taking a robust approach towards this matter, and do not deem there to be a risk to the public or school.”
