Beat the crowds and renew your season ticket online as Transport for Wales makes ticket buying even easier

Transport for Wales is making it even easier to renew your season tickets online ahead of the return to work next week.

The new and improved website option now appears on the homepage alongside the day ticket option and allows customers to easily select the ticket they want up to two weeks in advance, cutting out queue times.

Customers are being encouraged to take full advantage of the system ahead of the return to work on 6 January, rather than queuing for lengthy periods in booking offices or ticket machines.

And with the role out of smart ticketing continuing along routes across the Wales and Borders network, more customers than ever before will have the option to have their season ticket added to their smart cards, making it even easier to stay organised on the return to work.

Head of Marketing Paul Tapley said: “Nobody likes to start the week with a long queue for a new season ticket, especially when you’re just coming back from the Christmas break.

“So our new website structure makes it really easy to update your season ticket in advance.

“In just a couple of minutes from the comfort of your own home you can be safe in the knowledge that you’ve sorted your travel plans without having to wait in line on a cold January morning.”

Season ticket options can be viewed and purchased here:
