Joe Morrell has been forced to announce his retirement from playing professional football.
Morrell was capped 37 times for Cymru and played in the UEFA EURO 2020 and 2022 FIFA World Cup finals. The 28 year-old midfielder made his debut in 2019 after more than 50 appearances across the Cymru age groups and recently received his UEFA A coaching licence through the FAW’s Coach Education system.
