A new online survey is being launched this month to establish exactly how much and what kind of holiday accommodation we currently have in Ceredigion.
The questionnaire asks about all types of accommodation available, from B&Bs to hotels, caravan and camping sites, about how much providers charge for their accommodation, how many months of the year it is available and how many people the business employs. It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.
The tourism market is a very important part of the local economy and the results of the survey will inform future tourism policy in the county. It is being conducted on behalf of Visit Wales by Ceredigion County Council and Powys County Council, in partnership with Aberystwyth University. You may already have been contacted on our behalf by Tourism undergraduates from Aberystwyth University.
All local authorities in Wales will be required to conduct a similar study but Ceredigion and Powys County Councils are the first.
