Dyfed-Powys Police appeal following A48 road traffic collision.

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the eastbound lane of the A48 between Crosshands and Pont Abraham at approximately 5.30pm on Tuesday 1st December 2020.

The vehicles involved were a red Nissan Micra and a black Mercedes. Both occupants of the Nissan Micra were taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed and reopened at approximately 8.20pm.

Initial enquiries suggest that the Nissan Micra was traveling west along the A48 from Pont Abraham when it crossed the central reservation onto the eastbound carriageway.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. They would also like to speak to anyone who was travelling along the road and may have seen the Nissan Micra in the central reservation, prior to the collision. Anyone who was travelling along the road around the time and has a dash cam is also asked to contact police.
