Tenby residents are being asked for their views on the town’s extended holiday traffic ban.
Following this year’s trial extension to the summer pedestrianisation scheme, Pembrokeshire County Council wants to know what people think.
Questionnaires will be delivered to households and businesses within the walled town shortly.
The annual seasonal ban, which only allows certain vehicles permitted entry, was introduced several years ago with the aim of easing vehicle congestion within the town and creating a more pleasant environment for everyone during the summer.
Normally the scheme runs from 11am to 5pm each day from the third Saturday in July to the first Sunday in September.
However, this summer saw a trial extension of the scheme.
The traffic ban started on the first Monday after the Long Course weekend (6th July) and finished the Friday before Ironman Wales (11th September).
It was also extended to 5.30pm each day.
Access arrangements remained the same.
Now the extended scheme will be fully evaluated before any decision is taken on whether to make it more permanent.
The questionnaire seeking people’s views will be distributed by the County Council for Tenby Town Council and the Chamber of Trade and Tourism.

The closing date for responses is Friday 16th October.
