The Bloodline have been the most dominent force in WWE over the last few years, however recently more than ever tensions have flared dramatically and cracks are beginning to show in the foundation of The Bloodline. This was best demonstrated during Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia when Jimmy Uso demonstrated he’d clearly had enough of Roman Reigns’ disrespect and attacked him, essentially removing himself from the Bloodline all together.
Roman’s attitude towards the Usos really worsened post Mania where of course they lost the Undisputed Tag Team Championships to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. And how later on they failed to recapture the gold, which is why Roman intended to do that himself alongside Solo Sikoa who he clearly has more faith in to the point where he’d specifically instructed The Usos to not show up in Jeddah. This did not happen as the Usos quickly appeared after the referee had been knocked unconcious briefly during the match. And it was here, while Roman was berating The Usos again that Jimmy decided enough was enough and struck down Roman as he was berating brother Jey Uso and eventually doing so again, telling Jey “I’m doing what you should have done a long time ago.”
Since then we’ve seen Solo Sikoa show clearly that his allegience lies with Roman when he struck Jimmy down in a confrontation after he briefly seemed to have chosen the Usos over Roman. And we have seen Jey Uso clearly extremely conflicted with the current state of affairs, no doubt intensified by painful memories of his wars with Roman back in 2020. And Jey will eventually have to make a decision to whether to face his inherent fears of being on the wrong side of Roman again, or risk losing his brother forever as a result of this Family Feud.
Briefly going back to Sami Zayn, who of course aligned with The Bloodline for a long time. Despite his struggles with them at the beginning of the year, he has clearly gotten the last laugh in this situation. After his period in The Bloodline he was doing his best to convince The Usos that they were being mistreated and seeing Jimmy has broken free of Roman’s mental hold will no doubt give him some form of comfort that in the end he atleast got through to one of them, even though Jey is still on the fence. Overall, the undefeatable grip Roman has on the Usos seems to have broken and this could mean that the end of the Bloodline is rapidly approaching.
