LEMET is a recognisable Polish brand involved in the production of various transport-related accessories. It was established in 1992 and owes its presence on the market to Mirosław Leszek, who started producing spare parts for agricultural vehicles – mainly for Bizon, Ursus and Zetor brands. Until now, you can find parts for the machines in their extensive portfolio, but the company has significantly expanded its activities to include the manufacture of other products, such as towbars for motorhomes, towbar racks for the spare wheel, and swivel modules the boot doors to be opened after a bike platform has been mounted on the towbar.
Some time ago, LEMET also entered the air suspension systems market. Their crown product in this category is AirSprings air bellows kits, available in two variants: Premium and Standard.
AirSprings – how does this solution work and for what purpose is it used?
Before taking a closer look at LEMET’s air suspension systems for motorhomes, panel vans, cab chassis trucks and other vehicles, it is worth briefly discussing what air suspension is and what it is used for. For experienced van drivers or keen caravanners, this point probably seems obvious, but it is worth taking a brief moment to consider.
Complete air suspension kit is a very interesting accessory to help with transport. The main component of the system is the air bellows (also known as air bags, air springs), which are two plastic bushings fitted to the factory springs. Advantages of air suspension
What are the advantages of air suspension in a panel van, motorhome or other vehicle? There are definitely more than you might think. First and foremost, air springs are able to relieve the pressure on the vehicle’s springs and keep them running smoothly for longer. This is especially good news for owners of delivery vans, who often carry heavy loads in their vehicles.
Another indisputable advantage of pneumatic system is the perceptible improvement in driving comfort. The car can be suspended slightly higher and the air springs ensure that it runs smoothly over all bumps.
Air springs will also be appreciated by those who are unable to distribute the weight of their loads evenly. With the help of the bellows, it is easy to level out the vehicle and at the same time improve its stability and therefore driving safety.
LEMET air springs – what makes them special?
The motorhome accessory market is very fragmented in terms of innovation – some branches and products develop very quickly and surprise users with new functionalities, while in others it is difficult to find any breath of fresh air. Until recently, air suspension systems could be included in the latter group… at least until LEMET’s AirSprings air suspension appeared.

Similarities
- Both AirSprings Standard and AirSprings Premium are dual-circuit systems. This means that the left and right airbags can be set up separately and independently of the other. This is a major convenience for people who load their vehicles unevenly.
- Unlike many competing brands, LEMET pays maximum attention to the user convenience of its products and equips all its air suspension kits with a compressor. As a result, you will not have to carry an additional compressor with you or use those available at petrol stations or car washes.
- Another convenience for the Air Springs user is that both air suspension control panels (Digital and Bluetooth) are equipped with convenient buttons. This is also a big improvement over competing products, which use valves to admit air and release it from the system.
- Both kits are compatible with the same vehicles. These include the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Jumper and Ford Transit.
Differences
By far the biggest difference between the Air Springs Standard and Premium kits is the way the air suspension is controlled. In the case of the Standard kit, this is done quite classically – the control panel is placed in the centre of the car and the entire system is controlled from it. It is worth noting here that the panel is fully universal, so you will easily find a place for it in your cabin.
AirSprings Premium, on the other hand, offers the aforementioned Bluetooth control. In it, the control panel takes the form of a remote control that can be taken wherever you need it. You can easily adjust the inflation level of the air bellows from outside the car, which is a real innovation in the air suspension market.
Which air system from LEMET should you choose?
Both LEMET AirSpring Premium and Standard are complete air suspension kits for buses, motorhomes and other vehicles (boxes, tarpaulins, curtains). Which one should you choose for your vehicle? You will have to decide for yourself according to your own needs and preferences – AirSprings Standard is a simpler kit for the less demanding, which offers the user robust air bellows and adjustment of the two sides of the car independently, but does not allow remote control. AirSprings Premium, on the other hand, guarantees the user the same advantages while allowing more convenient remote control.
