📄 | 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
We would like to thank each director personally for the financial support they have given again this season (𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘃𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗺, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻 and Club President 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗼𝗰𝗸).
Our Chairman set up the academy 7 years ago to provide the pathway set out by the FAW. With many hurdles in our way 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘀 and 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 have worked tirelessly along with our coaches past and present, to make sure we are successful in meeting and surpassing objectives set.
Originally, Wayne posted footage of him talking about his 5 year plan to get back to top flight football in Wales however that hasn’t come to fruition due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
The appointment of our new young management team has seen many changes made to the first team. This meaning the club is back competing in the top 4 of the Cymru South aiming for promotion back into the Cymru Premier, where a club like Llanelli Town AFC belongs.
Our club has rapidly grown in the last 2 years with the addition of our 3 Veteran sides, a ladies team and a disability team all of which are getting great results and silverware!
With our Commercial Manager 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘅 the club has been supported by many fantastic businesses across South Wales. We can’t thank you all enough and we hope to continue these relationships to really drive the club on whilst watching each others brands grow.
Now that we have come together, both Directors and our committee are planning for the clubs future. There is some great investment across the Cymru Leagues now and we must continue to find ways on improving the club both on and off the pitch to get back to the top flight. This includes increasing our community work and pushing to get the ladies team into Tier 2!
We are currently seeking new investment to join the club as extra directors as well as more volunteers with particular skill sets. If that sounds like you then please get in touch!
It’s time, time to add some fresh faces as we look to bring Llanelli Town AFC back to the Cymru Premier. A club that’s rich in history… a club that wants to etch that name on silverware and compete at the highest level.
