At 9.41am on Friday, July 28th, the Llanelli, Ammanford, Pontiets, Pontarddulais and Carmarthen crews were called to an incident along the B4309 in Furnace, Llanelli.
Crews responded to a road traffic collision involving two private motor vehicles and two light commercial vehicles, with a total of six casualties involved.
Crews extricated a trapped casualty in one of the vehicles and assisted the Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance paramedics who are also in attendance. One casualty was airlifted to hospital by the Air Ambulance with another casualty conveyed to hospital by road ambulance.
Crews utilised salvage sheets, small gear, first aid equipment, chocks and blocks, and edraulic equipment. Dyfed Powys Police were also in attendance and the incident was transferred to them.
Crews left the scene at 12.28pm.
