Police received a report at 1.15pm on Saturday 11th July 2015 that a child had fallen from a vehicle, a black Rolls Royce Limousine, which was travelling along the A470 between Caersws and Carno.
The child was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.
The road is currently closed with diversions in place.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Mid Wales Roads Policing Unit on 101.
