Come and journey with us from hymns to spoken word as we hear how Christian music has changed over the years and how it has influenced people. We will hear instrumental hymns from Burry port Town band and a local soul/rock band called ‘Halen’ before moving on to spoken word and contemporary songs performed by Cath and Dai Woolridge. These well-known performers will also intertwine their personal stories with their music sharing with us their journeys from brokenness to beauty.
Cath is an actress singer/songwriter who you may recognise from Gavin and Stacey!

Halen is a growing community of musicians who have combined their passion for the arts and community to come together to write and cover music together. They have plans to record an EP in the coming months.
Burry Port Town Band – It’s great to have our town band as part of this exciting evening. They join us to play some of the richest music ever written for the church.
