CETMA is pleased to announce that it will be launching 2 new projects at an event to be held on Thursday 28th July 2016 in Dafen Pond.
Trixie Evans, Wildlife Watch Coordinator said:
“It will be great way to start the summer holidays!”
The Wildlife Walks Pups Club will encourage children and their parents to leave their laptops and games and go out into the local area around them and learn about the environment and wildlife.
The children and their parents will learn about the local wildlife around them, the environment and what hazards humans are causing it and also get fit and healthy.
The sessions will take place in the school holidays and will involve walks, trips for pond dipping, wildlife spotting and indoor activities such education, badge making and recycling materials. The project starts on Tuesday 26th July and will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer holidays.
If anyone is interested, then they need to contact Kelly Jenkins, Pups Club Coordinator on 01554772056.
Any surpluses that the company makes will be ploughed back into the aims of the company.
