I’d love to start off by introducing myself, I am the new support officer for Llanelli Lgbtq+ Support Community. My name is Ellie, I prefer to be referred to as they/them, I’m 21 and am originally from Oxford.
My hopes for the group are to bring more awareness to our organisation and get more people involved. I plan on creating larger presents on social media, getting more involved with the community by communicating with them in a covid-safe environment and working with everyone to create new and exciting events.
As a start, I am hoping to start a small article called ‘Inspiration of the Month’ where I would be speaking to a member of our local Lgbtq+ community in hopes of hearing some life stories of people that have either contributed to our cause or community. If you know anybody or are someone that has done something to help our community I’d love to hear from you, I will leave my contact information below and I look forward to working with you all.
