Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Llanelli is thrilled to announce that they and the other Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking teams, have played an important role in helping the Benefact Group to achieve helping 100 charities in their second Movement for Good draw of 2025. This marks an exciting milestone for the Benefact Groups Movement for Good awards, by increasing the number of winners from 50 to 100.

The Benefact Group’s Movement for Good is a charitable initiative that supports deserving charities across the UK. By participating in Movement for Good, the teams can contribute to positive change and support organisations that are making an impact across the nation.

Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Regional Director, Graeme Fox, who is based in the Llanelli office said-” once again we’ll be donating over £1 million to charities and good causes. This year we have reached the incredible milestone of donating £250M to charities since 2014. This year’s draw has been extra special, with 75 new winners, and an impressive 21 charities with fewer than 10 nominations making the list”.

Impressive Nominations:

In total, 782 different charities were nominated in 2025’s £1k draws, with 380 colleagues participating. Foothold Cymru, a social justice charity, was one of the recipients of the £1,000 award. They have been supporting the people of West Wales for over 30 years, creating resilient communities where everyone has a decent standard of living.

Foothold Cymru’s Special Win
Zoe Williams, a Commercial Manager at the Llanelli office shared her excitement about Foothold Cymru’s win: “Foothold is our nominated charity this year, and their representative visited our office last week to thank us and tell us more about the incredible work they do in the local community. We all feel that they were a deserving recipient of the £1,000.”

The Movement for Good Initiative Continues
This recent draw is just one of many throughout the year. The Health Special Draw is set to take place at the end of April. There are more draws and plenty of opportunities ahead. Charities can apply for a Movement for Good award by encouraging supporters to nominate them through the Benefact Group’s website. Nominations can be made by anyone, including employees of Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Llanelli, who are actively involved in supporting their chosen causes.
