The Olive Trust, Wales are pleased to announce that they have received funding to purchase more equipment and to carry on their good work with equality, anti-discrimination and Diabetes work in the community during the Covid crisis.

Denise Kingsley-Jones CEO and founder of the organisation stated ‘thanks to the partnerships created, we can now better the lives of those suffering from Diabetes or discrimination in any form. We are linking with those from other organisations such as Disability, or the LGBT community where people may be suffering from discrimination.

Roy Schuster, Chair of the Trust stated ‘we are pleased to be able to do some more work in the community around discrimination and continue our Diabetes work. We will be creating information packs, workshops and a forum to bring this work into being along with valuable equipment’.

The Covid crisis has meant the organisation were unable to continue working in the community after the Holocaust Memorial in January. Hopefully, this funding will enable them to continue their good work in the community.
