The first week of February brings together a whole range of groups, organisations and individuals for Carmarthenshire Wellbeing Week.
From Monday 1st to Friday 5th of February we will see a packed programme of events and activities online for people of all ages and all parts of our community.
Organiser, Paolo Piana, Chair of Llanelli’s Community Partnership, who are organising and facilitating the Wellbeing Week, told us “During these difficult times we felt we needed to do something to boost the wellbeing of our communities and create a sense of connection. Wellbeing Week has had a tremendous response. We have a packed timetable, starting with a 1970s sing along with Goldies Cymru, Art and Craft Sessions with Ty Celf-The Art House, Family Arts and Crafts, A Cooking Session, Gentle Exercise Class, Conversation Sessions with FAN and an Open Mic Session on Thursday evening, just to name a few. So far, we have over 20 events and activities confirmed!
We would like to thank the Fusion Project (A Welsh Government initiative “Creating opportunities through culture”) and Llanelli Town Council who have provided the financial support for Carmarthenshire Wellbeing Week. And of course, we would like to thank everybody who will providing the activities and events, many who are doing it for free or for a very minimal cost.

(see link below) We hope Wellbeing Week will lift peoples’ spirits, add a fun factor during challenging times, teach people new skills, create opportunities for people to make new friends and build a real sense of connection and community.
