Age Cymru are holding focus groups in Llanelli to understand older people’s priorities for the next Welsh Government

Dear editor,   

As Wales prepares for the 2026 Senedd elections, your older readers will be eager to let those standing for election know what they would like them to prioritise for older people across Wales. Readers will want to know the priorities of the next Welsh Government for older people on health, social care, the economy, public transport and much more.  

Age Cymru are holding focus groups with older people to understand their top priorities for the next Welsh Government. With the new boundary changes, we will be holding the first group in Llanelli which will be part of the Caerfyrddin seat.

We would like to invite people aged 50 and over in Llanelli to join us. We will have three sessions available: 09:30 – 10:30am, 11am – 12pm or 1:30 – 2:30pm.  

They will be held at Age Cymru Dyfed’s offices:
