Foster Wales Carmarthenshire is delighted to welcome Lighthouse Stage School as the latest business to join its Foster Wales Partners scheme.
Run by Carmarthenshire foster carers Louise and Ammanys, Lighthouse Stage School is a fully inclusive, volunteer-run stage school and theatre group for children and young people aged 4 to 18.

Alongside their role as foster carers, Louise and Ammanys have created a welcoming environment where children and young people can build confidence, develop new skills and express themselves through performing arts.
This month, they extended that support to the wider fostering community by hosting a special performance of The Addams Family exclusively for Foster Wales Carmarthenshire foster carers, children and young people.
Carmarthenshire Country Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Social Services and Children and Families, Cllr Jane Tremlett, said:
Louise and Ammanys are fantastic ambassadors for fostering in Carmarthenshire. Through both their fostering role and Lighthouse Stage School, they continually create opportunities for children and young people to thrive, grow in confidence and feel included. We are delighted to welcome Lighthouse Stage School as Foster Wales Partners and thank them for their continued support.”
The Foster Wales Partners scheme recognises businesses that support fostering and help raise awareness of the vital role foster carers play in caring for local children and young people.
