Llanelli local kickboxing club ‘ Xandao kickboxing ‘ had 6 representatives as part of team wales competing over 4 days in the ICO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in Swansea October 16th – 19th.
Club instructors and coaches (father and daughter) Leighton Bryant and Lauren Bryant of Xandao kickboxing, Llanelli took 6 fighters who competed in a range of disciplines.
Fighters included; Lauren Bryant, Morgan Griffiths, Robert Fleming, Maddison Ward, Maddison Saunders and Ryan Dunne.
They came back with 11 golds, 11 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
A special mention to Lauren Bryant, Maddison Saunders and Maddison ward who came back multiple world champions.
Maddison Saunders age 13 achieved 6 gold medals and also placed top 10 of 800+ athletes from all over the world including 19 countries such as USA, Zimbabwe, England, Portugal, Ukraine.
