DYFED-POWYS POLICE’S RESPONSE TO VAUXHALL ASTRA PERCHED ON LLWYNHENDY WALL

Earlier today The West Wales Chronicle reported a single vehicle collision that had taken place this morning (January 18) at The Avenue which is located in Llwynhendy Llanelli.

A Vauxhall Astra had quite visibly mounted a wall outside local businesses on The Avenue and relatively near a bus stop. We are pleased to report that nobody was injured during what looked like a very unfortunate incident and a lucky escape.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police has told us:

“Police attended a report of a one-vehicle collision in which a car mounted a wall in Llwynhendy at 10am this morning. A driver in his 80s had collided with a wall and lamppost, with the car ending up on top of the wall. The driver was unhurt in the incident. The car – an Astra – required recovery from the scene.”
