For the 4th year in a row, CETMA are feeding more families at Christmas, the aim is to make sure no one goes without a meal on Christmas day, this year the Campaign is supported by the Llanelli Standard, Gravells Kia Kidwelly and Coop Burry Port.
Charlotte Gravell said Gravells Kia is extremely proud to be supporting CETMA’s #FeedAFamily4XmasDay campaign in partnership with the Llanelli Standard once again this year.
Gravells Kia is at the heart of the community and believes passionately about supporting the most in need during what is going to be a very worrying Christmas.
Our Sponsorship will hopefully bring a little light for families this Christmas.
Speaking with coordinator Amanda Evans she said the feed a family project is really important for people who are really struggling with the weight of Christmas, this year is even more important due to the crisis of living costs.
Last year we provided 150 families with a three course Christmas dinner which was nearly 900 people who benefited from the kind generosity of the public who provide the food and presents via donations and who gave up their free time to help us to be able to put them together. This year we anticipate that this number is going to greatly increase.
Last year we were also privileged to receive 500 fresh cooked Christmas dinners from Kappie Hunter who drove 1450 miles and delivered 1000 meals to different organisation across the UK. We are hopeful to be able to receive the help from him again this year.
