A scheme to brighten up Pembrokeshire’s town centres is back for a third year.
The streetscape paint scheme will help fund the cost of painting the facades of buildings in some of the County’s main towns.
Owners in Fishguard and Goodwick, Milford Haven, Pembroke, Pembroke Dock, Tenby and Haverfordwest can apply for the grant to paint the outside of their buildings.
The scheme is part of Pembrokeshire County Council’s town centre regeneration work.
It is open to owners of both residential and commercial buildings within the defined town centres.
Cllr Keith Lewis, Cabinet Member for Communities and Voluntary Sector, said: “This is a great opportunity to spruce up our town centres, and I urge anyone interested in applying for the grant to contact the County Council as soon as possible.”
While the scheme will aid with the funding of paint, owners will be responsible for appointing contractors to carry out the work and to ensure that the necessary consents are in place.
There is a time limit for work to be carried out and the grant will be paid once work is completed.
Because of limited funding, grants will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
