Samuel Turner returned to Treetops school to officially open up a classroom that has been named after him.
We at the Llanelli Standard would like to congratulate Sam for all his fundraising efforts he’s put in to making this happen.
Sam is a former student of the school between 2006 & 2016, the school which is based in Essex is a specialist school for vulnerable children with additional learning needs.

The school have called Sam a role model to their students and are proud to be naming a classroom after him ‘Class Turner’.
On the 4th October 2024 Sam went back to the school for the official opening of the room, where Sam gave a speech and also cut ribbon, this cake which Sam baked as he is a keen baker, also some bubbly.
Well done some on all you do, a dedicated fundraiser from Brodawel near Ferryside Carmarthenshire, keep up the good work. We look forward to hearing and reading a lot more stories from this kind gentleman.
