Warriors Represent Llanelli In World Cup

I would like to tell you about the IMART Mixed Ability Rugby World cup which is being held in Pamplona in Spain over the last week.

With four teams to represent Wales, Over 1,500 players from 22+ countries, the IMART World Cup 2025 will be more than just a tournament – it’s a global movement for inclusion, accessibility and education. 

The power of Mixed Ability Rugby goes beyond the game. It’s about inclusion, determination and proving that everyone belongs on the pitch. Passion. Respect. Integrity. Solidarity. These are the powerful values that represent everything that makes Mixed Ability Rugby great.

The Llanelli Warriors along with three other Welsh teams have travelled to Pamplona to compete in their third International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament. The squad have worked hard to get ready for the tough competition ahead but are feeling ready and confident. 

I feel a shout out is worthy to acknowledge their hard work and determination. 

Good luck to all the teams representing Wales travelling to Pamplona this weekend.

Llanelli Warriors, Merched Cymru MA, Swansea Gladiators RFC and Port Talbot Panthers. 

A big shout out to Llanelli Warriors who are ready to represent inclusive rugby, the club and community on the world stage in Spain who have qualified for the Silver Cup tomorrow.

Our girls, Merched Cymru MA have qualified for the Gold Cup in the tournament which is also being played tomorrow. 

This is a fantastic achievement for two of Llanelli’s teams. Your support and recognition on your social media platforms would be very much appreciated to highlight their achievements in this world cup.
