congratulations to all the WPL and Tier 2 clubs that obtained the Domestic licence today. The hard work that goes into the UEFA and Domestic Licence is overwhelming.
Secondly, we at the club knew that we would have failed to obtain the Tier one licence this year at the first attempt (similar to last year) and that it would always be the case to assess the situation after today’s announcement, with the slim possibility of other clubs failing the process, allowing us to standby to appeal the outcome.
With the club relegated and heading back to Tier 2 of Welsh football, we have no intention of appealing the decision and now the preparation starts to gain promotion back into the WPL next season.
A sad day for all associated with the club but we did it last year when people doubted us and we will do the same next year coming back stronger on and off the field.
A big thank you to all of our supporters who have been with us on our journey this season
