January 2022 and the Christmas Number 1 was a song raising funds for foodbanks to feed the UK population.
That makes it 4 years in a row for Lad Baby. We can only presume that next year’s Christmas number one will be a song about how great the Union is. Is it though?
Westminster has been ramping up the efforts of its Union unit which is run by self confessed cocaine user Michael Gove.
The Union Flag (which Wales is not represented on) is being stamped everywhere and the BBC is joining in by doing it’s best to mention the UK in every sentence. The UK does have two aircraft carriers, one with £100 million aircraft that sail around the world showing off the might of the nation, and of course there’s HS2 which will make it quicker to get from London to Birmingham 30 minutes faster (By the way, Wales is contributing £5 billion to it but will not see any benefit, though we do need £500 million to make the coal tips safe to avoid another Aberfan. The UK won’t pay for that!)
The UK does have a seat on the UN security council and about 160 Nuclear Weapons which Boris wants to increase to 200. They can spend all of that money on those things but can’t spend it on the people.
There’s thousands of foodbanks supporting millions of people, and things will get worse. Would anyone want to join the UK if you weren’t part of it? No country that has left the British empire has ever asked to rejoin. They were told that independence would be bad for them.
The UK is a laughing stock around the world because it can’t feed itself, can’t even pick the food it does grow itself, drive the imports/exports of food, or even slaughter the animals it farms.
Instead of having a UK government that uses common sense and works for the people, we have one that reverts to snobbery, racism, fascism and hatred towards its own people and foreigners. Money and privilege talk. Do we really want to live in a country like that?
Let’s break off the shackles of Westminster corruption and create a Wales where we can look after the people and help them out of poverty. Let’s take our place at the UN and be a voice of calm and reason and stop the sabre rattles from doing something dangerous.
Let’s go Independent.
