Cross Hands manufacturer Shufflebottom is celebrating two manufacturing award wins in the year it marks its 40th anniversary, bringing recognition to the Carmarthenshire business both locally and across Wales.

The steel-framed building specialist won Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Carmarthenshire Business Awards in July and Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m) at Insider’s Made in Wales Awards on 1 October.

The double success gives the team at its Cross Hands headquarters two achievements to celebrate alongside four decades in business.

From its base in Carmarthenshire, Shufflebottom designs, manufactures and supplies bespoke steel-framed buildings for farms and businesses throughout the UK. Its projects range from agricultural storage and machinery buildings to industrial and commercial premises.

Shufflebottom’s directors said: “These two awards reflect the work of people right across the business. Every project depends on colleagues bringing their skills together, from design and detailing through to fabricating the steelwork, arranging deliveries and supporting our customers.

“We’re very proud of the team and grateful for the hard work that has contributed to both wins. We’d also like to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for their continued support as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. It’s a special year for the company, and this double award success gives us even more to celebrate.”
