Llanelli event on 12th November will bring West Wales business leaders together to support the lifesaving charity

Following their support last year to the Peony Unit at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli-based DPA Law has announced a year-long fundraising partnership with Wales Air Ambulance.

The partnership was revealed at the recent West Wales Business Hub, DPA Law’s free monthly networking event for business leaders across the region.

It will begin with a launch event at the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters in Dafen, Llanelli, at 1pm on Thursday 12th November. Guests will go behind the scenes at the charity, hear first-hand stories from the crew and enjoy a networking lunch. Speakers from Wales Air Ambulance and DPA Law will discuss how the right charity partnership can strengthen a business’ reputation and benefit the wider community.

Kathryn Devonald-Davies, Partner and Solicitor at DPA Law, said: ‘At DPA Law we pride ourselves in delivering the best possible legal services, but also being the best possible business we can be. This involves giving back to the community wherever we can, whether it be through our regular programme of free monthly West Wales Business Hub events, or through charity fundraising work.’

Alan Jenkins, Wales Air Ambulance’s Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “We are incredibly grateful that DPA Law has chosen Wales Air Ambulance as its charity partner for 2026-27.

“Since our first flight on 1 March 2001, we have carried out more than 58,000 lifesaving missions, but none of that would have been possible without the kindness, generosity and commitment of our supporters.

“It costs £13 million every year to keep our helicopters in the sky and rapid response vehicles on the road, bringing hospital-standard treatment to people facing some of the most traumatic and life-changing moments of their lives.”

“Every fundraiser, every donation and every partnership helps us continue to be there for the people of Wales when they need us most. We are excited to work with the team at DPA Law over the coming year and look forward to seeing the difference we can make together.”

Tickets cost £15 and every penny of profit from ticket sales will go to Wales Air Ambulance. Tickets are available via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/year-of-fundraising-kick-off-celebration-tickets-2002786601639
