Green light for new primary school in Briton Ferry

Neath Port Talbot Councillors have approved plans for Ysgol Newydd Briton Ferry, Neath.
 
The go-ahead marks yet another key milestone in the Council’s Strategic School Improvement Programme which aims to raise school standards and enhance the quality of the learning environment by providing the right schools in the right places.
 
The new primary school in Briton Ferry will accommodate 420 pupils and provide nursery accommodation for 75 pupils.
 
 
Mae cynghorwyr Castell-nedd Port Talbot wedi cymeradwyo cynlluniau ar gyfer Ysgol Newydd Llansawel, Castell-nedd.
 
Mae’r caniatâd yn nodi carreg filltir allweddol arall yn Rhaglen Strategol Gwella Ysgolion y cyngor sydd â’r nod o godi safonau ysgolion a gwella ansawdd yr amgylchedd dysgu trwy ddarparu’r ysgolion iawn yn y lleoedd iawn.
 
Bydd yr ysgol gynradd newydd yn Llansawel yn darparu lle i 420 o ddisgyblion yn ogystal â lle meithrin i 75 o ddisgyblion.
