I am writing this to you regarding an accident my mum had on the 22nd September 2023 at the Stradey Arms in Furnace Llanelli.
The accident happened at approximately 4.45pm out the front of the Stradey Arms. After falling an sustaining an injury she had to phone myself Jamie (son) to collect her due to being in excruciating pain. While being at PPH Minor injuries she was made to wait half an hour to be triaged although I made them aware that she had reduced circulation in her fingers due to swelling and her rings being on the same fingers.
After being seeing by the minor injury department they confirmed she had 3 broken fingers so they decided to put her in a cast and she was told that the Trauma team in Morriston would have a meeting on the 23rd Sept.
Between the 22nd and 25th she did not get any phone calls or follow up from Morriston Trauma team so she phoned on the 25th Sept to PPH minor injuries to see what was happening and they then transferred her to WWGH who then said again she’d be referred to Morriston again.
27th Sept she had a phone call call from WWGH to go and see Orthopaedics to reposition her fingers and change the cast.
After a new cast they sent her for another x ray which they were not happy with so she seen the surgical team about surgery.
To this date she still awaits a call from Morriston to see what treatment/surgery she requires.
The treatment from Hywel Dda trust has been appauling as she was not kept up to date with what was happening or going to happen.

I comprehend that this is unrelated to the business and is more related to PPH, but it’s wise to avoid referencing businesses without obtaining proper permissions. I would have reworded it to well known public house in Furnace.
Wendy Thomas she only mentioned it was outside? The only bad thing that’s happened there recently is a far right group had a meeting there. Lovely pub. Nice food.

That poor woman seems as if she been shunted from hospital to hospital surely it could have been dealt with in pph.we seem to be going backwards instead of forwards with patients treatment.
I sincerely hope she gets the appropriate treatment very soon. 🤗🤗
