Llanelli’s Member of the Senedd Lee Waters donned his festive attire for a special 6km ‘Santa Dash’ last weekend.
Though the well-attended annual event couldn’t go ahead, Lee suited up and ran the course alongside organiser Clare Doyle to raise money for mental health.
After catching his breath, Lee said “Clare organises a brilliant event every year, and though it’s a real shame we couldn’t have the usual crowds out this year, I was determined to get into the festive spirit, and prove I could keep up with my dog Millie.”
“I’m not a fitness fanatic but I have found jogging really helpful for my own mental wellbeing over the last few months, so it’s a real privilege to be able to do this and raise money for people who are struggling at the moment.”
